Safety - Emergency Action Plan
Develop an Emergency Action Plan (EAP):
The emergency action plan should be designed to address the following areas:
1) emergencies within the facility,
2) emergencies outside of the facility,
3) health-related emergencies.
The plan should integrate the concepts of hazard prevention and control as a measure for
managing risk within a safety management system through the development of an emergency
action plan. Additionally, you must specifically identify the following information:
1) evacuation procedures,
2) procedure for reporting and alerting authorities,
3) procedure for alerting employees and visitors of the emergency,
4) how employees will be trained on the EAP,
5) how you will account for everyone after the implementation of the EAP,
6) how the EAP will be updated and maintained.
The EAP should be should be 3 to 4 pages. All sources used must be cited and referenced
according to APA standards.
